Sarah Katerina

For twenty years I was an office director at SUMA Gestión Tributaria, the public body that manages local taxes in the province of Alicante. I reviewed the paperwork of thousands of taxpayers, and it taught me two things.

  1. 01The Spanish property and tax system works, but only for those who know its rules.
  2. 02Foreign buyers almost never know them, and often neither do the people advising them.

I kept seeing the same avoidable mistakes: missed deadlines, miscalculated taxes, decisions taken without a plan. So I left the system to build a service that sits only on the buyer’s side.

Practical questions

What buyers want to know first.

Will I be passed from person to person?

No. Sarah leads your file from the first call to the keys and beyond. Igor, Elsa, Óscar and Beatriz handle specific parts, but you always have one point of contact.

Does the team replace my lawyer, surveyor or architect?

No. We coordinate with them and tell you when a question needs one. Legal, technical and planning matters stay with the professionals qualified to verify them.

Can you help if I am not in Spain yet?

Yes. Calls and viewings by video, documents handled remotely, and a power of attorney when it makes sense, so you only travel when you want to.

What happens after I complete the purchase?

We stay with you as an owner: taxes, Modelo 210, IBI, bills and paperwork. If you want to let the property, VITA Host, part of the Sarah Katerina group, manages it.

Do you work with Spanish buyers too?

Yes. We work with Spanish and international buyers alike, in Spanish and in English.
